Incline Pec Fly Plate-Loaded Machine — Vortex Series

Upper Chest Isolation | Independent Arms | 3mm Steel Frame | 197.5kg Build | Model BL02

Checkout this model in our Villawood Showroom

The fly is where the chest gets its shape, and the incline version puts that squeeze on the upper chest - the clavicular fibres that a flat press never fully reaches. The Vortex Incline Pec Fly runs it on plate-loaded lever arms: load the horns, settle against the back pad and bring the arms together through a long, supported arc with the shoulders and elbows held in line the whole way.

The independent arms load and move separately, so a stronger side can't do the work for a weaker one and single-arm sets are there when you want them. Ergonomic non-slip grips, high-density pads and sealed pivot bearings keep every rep smooth and strict, on a frame built for a commercial floor that trains all day.

Key Features

  • Incline fly arc — targets the upper chest and front delts through a full stretch and a hard peak contraction
  • Independent lever arms — each side moves and loads separately, so imbalances get trained out, not hidden
  • Plate-loaded resistance — Olympic plates straight onto the horns - progressive overload with no stack to outgrow
  • 3mm commercial steel frame — heavy-gauge steel (measured before painting), powder-coated for all-day use
  • Ergonomic grips and pads — non-slip handles and high-density, sweat-resistant upholstery
  • Made to order in your colours — 16 frame colours and 12 upholstery colours, with rubber foot pads to protect your flooring

Frequently Asked Questions

What does an incline pec fly work that a flat fly doesn't?
The incline angle shifts the squeeze to the upper chest - the clavicular fibres under the collarbone. A flat fly loads the mid chest. Most serious chest programs run both, so the upper chest keeps pace with the rest.

Why independent arms?
With the arms linked, a stronger side quietly takes over. Independent arms make each side move its own load, which is why they're standard on premium chest machines - and they let you drop to single-arm sets without changing machines.

What plates does it take?
Standard Olympic plates. Bumpers, rubber-coated and iron all load straight onto the horns. Plates are sold separately.

How does it pair with a chest press?
The press is the compound push - chest, shoulders and triceps together. The fly isolates the chest with the elbows fixed. Press for load, fly for the finishing squeeze: see the Vortex Incline Chest Press.

Can I choose my own colours?
Yes - made-to-order units come in your choice of 16 frame colours and 12 upholstery colours, with logo branding available on request. See the chart above.

Do you deliver and install?
Yes - we ship Australia-wide, and our own technician team handles professional delivery and installation in Sydney. Contact us for a quote.
