Lace-Up Boxing Boots with Gum Rubber Soles for Training, Sparring and Fight Night

Boxing boots are built for footwork. A thin, grippy sole lets you feel the floor and pivot cleanly, and a higher cut supports the ankle as you move side to side. They suit boxing, kickboxing and other ring and mat sports where running shoes feel bulky or roll on the outside edge.

We stock two boots from Morgan Sports: the Aventus, a versatile lace-up boot for amateur and intermediate athletes, and the Elite, a taller high-top boot that sits above it in the range.

How to Choose Boxing Boots

• Cut height: lower-cut boots feel lighter and freer, while a high-top like the 22cm Elite gives more ankle support for fast lateral movement.
• Sole: gum rubber outsoles grip canvas, mats and gym floors and let you pivot on the ball of the foot. A low-profile midsole keeps you close to the floor for balance.
• Fit: boots should fit snugly with little heel lift, as a loose boot slows your footwork. Check the size chart on each product page before ordering.
• Where you wear them: keep boxing boots for indoor training. Rough outdoor surfaces wear the thin sole quickly and pick up grit that damages canvas and mats.

Our Range

• Morgan Aventus Boxing Boots: lace-up boot with a full flexible gum rubber outsole, partial EVA midsole, reinforced overlays and a reinforced heel for ankle support. US sizes 7-12. Part of the Aventus Collection.
• Morgan Elite Boxing Boots: 22cm high-top boot with padded nylon mesh insets for breathability, leather accents, an omnidirectional-grip gum rubber outsole and a reinforced back heel.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Aventus and Elite boots?
The Aventus is the more versatile, lower-cost boot, suited to boxing, wrestling, weightlifting and other combat sports. The Elite has a taller 22cm high-top cut for more ankle support, plus mesh insets and leather accents, and is aimed at training, sparring and fight night.

What size should I order?
Both boots are sized in men's sizes, and the Aventus uses US sizing from 7 to 12 (as a guide, US10 is a UK9). Each product page has a size chart, and boots should feel snug with little heel movement.

Can I wear boxing boots for Muay Thai?
Muay Thai is traditionally trained and fought barefoot, so most Muay Thai gyms do not use footwear on the mats. Boxing boots are designed for boxing and other sports where you stay on your feet and pivot.

Can I use boxing boots for lifting?
The Aventus boot is designed for boxing, wrestling, weightlifting and other combat sports. Its flat, thin gum rubber sole gives a stable base for lifting.
