Upper chest is the part of a chest that gets left behind, because the flat press does so little for it. The Vortex Incline Chest Press is built for exactly that gap: a plate-loaded lever on an incline pressing angle that drives the load into the clavicular fibres and front delts, with a tall back pad that keeps the torso locked while you press heavy.

No bar to balance, no bench angle to fiddle with and no spotter needed - load the horns, sit in and press. A 191.5kg frame of 3mm commercial steel keeps it dead still under the biggest loads a chest session can throw at it.

What does the incline do that a flat press doesn't?
The upward pressing angle shifts the load to the upper chest and front delts. A flat press trains the mid chest. If the upper chest is behind, this is the machine that catches it up.

Do I need a spotter?
No - the lever arms stop safely at the end of the range, so members can press to failure on their own.

What plates does it take?
Standard Olympic plates - bumpers, rubber-coated or iron. Plates are sold separately.
