The Components

The stands are a super-strong powder-coated steel pair with height adjustment and non-slip feet, rated to 120kg - independent uprights that set up for squats or bench work and pack away when the session's done.

The barbell is our Harden Chrome 700lb workhorse - full 2.2m Olympic length, 28mm shaft, 195,000 PSI tensile strength steel, precision-ground hard chrome sleeves, no centre knurl.

The plates are Reload HD EPDM bumpers - 450mm outer diameter across every size, chemically bonded 10mm steel inserts, 75-90 SHa shore hardness for low bounce, 50.5mm centre hole.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I drop the bar on these plates?
Yes - Reload HD EPDM bumpers are dense, low-bounce rubber designed for deadlifts and overhead lifts being dropped. We recommend rubber gym flooring under the lifting area to protect your slab and keep the noise down.

Are the components the same as sold separately?
Yes - the stands, bar and bumpers are the identical standalone products, and the package is priced below buying them separately, with the collars included.

Is this a power cage?
No - it's a pair of independent squat and bench stands, which is what keeps the package compact and affordable. If you want a full rack with fixed safeties, step up to Package 2 with a commercial power cage - or add a bench and more plates with Package 16.

What if I need more weight?
Two paths: the 100kg edition of this package with a heavier-duty stand, or add Reload HD bumper pairs from 5kg to 25kg any time.

What warranty does the package carry?
The barbell carries 2 years structural warranty for home use (1 year commercial) plus 12 months on bearings; the stands, plates and collars carry 12 months. Your Australian Consumer Law rights apply on top - see the full warranty policy.
