The step-up squat pack for boutique studios, garage gyms and PT spaces: heavy-duty two-piece squat and bench stands rated to 250kg, our 700lb-rated chrome Olympic barbell, a full 100kg of Reload EPDM bumper plates built to be dropped, and snap latch collars to lock it down.

The Components

The stands are the heavy-duty version - super-strong powder-coated steel with 15 height-adjustment holes (92cm to 152cm range), non-slip feet and a 250kg load rating: more than double the capacity of our entry stands, with easy assembly.

The barbell is our Harden Chrome 700lb workhorse - full 2.2m Olympic length, 28mm shaft, 195,000 PSI tensile strength steel, precision-ground hard chrome sleeves, no centre knurl.

The plates are Reload HD EPDM bumpers - 450mm outer diameter across every size, chemically bonded 10mm steel inserts, 75-90 SHa shore hardness for low bounce, 50.5mm centre hole.

How is this different from the 70kg package?
Two upgrades: 30kg more bumper plate (adding the 20kg pairs) and the heavy-duty 250kg-rated stands with 15 height positions - more than double the capacity of the 70kg package's entry stands.

Can I drop the bar on these plates?
Yes - Reload HD EPDM bumpers are dense, low-bounce rubber designed for deadlifts and overhead lifts being dropped. We recommend rubber gym flooring under the lifting area.

Is this a power cage?
No - independent squat and bench stands keep it compact and affordable. For a full rack with fixed safeties, step up to Package 15 or Package 2.

What if I need more weight?
Add Reload HD bumper pairs from 5kg to 25kg any time - the 250kg stands have plenty of headroom.

What warranty does the package carry?
The barbell carries 2 years structural warranty for home use (1 year commercial) plus 12 months on bearings; the stands, plates and collars carry 12 months. Your Australian Consumer Law rights apply on top - see the full warranty policy.
