The Premium Grey Fleck Rubber Gym Flooring tile is 1m x 1m x 15mm of 100% SBR rubber with a PU binder and a 15% grey fleck on one side. Its smoother top finish is more comfortable than our Commercial tiles for exercises that put you in direct contact with the floor - yoga, stretching and barefoot training.

The tile is reversible - the fleck is on one side and the other side has a smooth finish - and at 13.5kg per tile, 1000kg/m³ and 62 Shore A it's dense, durable gym flooring. It absorbs shock, dampens noise, resists heat, ozone and weather, and it's fire tested by SGS to EN 13501-1:2018 with an Efl classification.

Commercial or Premium?

Our grey fleck 1m x 1m x 15mm tile comes in two grades. Both are made from the same durable rubber, so the choice comes down to the surface finish and whether you want a reversible tile.

• Commercial Grey Fleck - textured, non-slip surface, designed for single-sided use
• Premium Grey Fleck (this tile) - smoother top finish that's more comfortable for barefoot work such as yoga and stretching, and reversible, with the fleck on one side and a smooth finish on the other

Technical Specifications

Independently Tested & Certified

These tiles have been independently tested by SGS to the EN 13501-1:2018 fire safety standard and achieved a fire classification of Efl, indicating limited flame spread and low ignitability - a rating that makes them suitable for use in commercial gym environments.

The certification is available on request for gym owners, facility managers and commercial fit-outs - contact us and we'll send it through.

How Many Tiles Do I Need?

Each tile is 1m x 1m and covers 1 m², so the number of tiles you need is your floor area in square metres. Multiply the length by the width in metres, round up, and add a few spare tiles for cuts around walls, columns and equipment.

• Spare room or PT corner (about 12 square metres) - 13 tiles
• Single garage (about 18 square metres) - 19-20 tiles
• Double garage (about 36 square metres) - 38-40 tiles

Installation Tips

1. Prepare the area: make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and level so the tiles sit flat
2. Start in a corner: work outward, pushing each tile firmly against the last so there are no gaps
3. Cut to fit: trim around corners and obstacles with a sharp utility knife and a straight edge, scoring several passes rather than forcing one cut
4. Secure if required: in high-traffic areas, fix the edges with adhesive or heavy-duty tape for added stability
5. Use both sides: the tile is reversible - turn it over to use the smooth side, or to get more life from a high-traffic spot
