A full gym floor is a serious purchase, and photographs don't tell you how a rubber tile actually feels underfoot, how dense it is, or how the fleck reads next to your walls and equipment. This sample lets you find out before you order pallets of it.

Each sample is a cut-down section of the real tile — the same rubber, the same density, the same surface finish that ships on the full 1m x 1m product. Drop a plate on it, walk on it, put it next to your existing floor, show it to your builder or landlord.

Choose Your Grade

• Commercial — our workhorse SBR rubber tile. Dense, hard-wearing and the best value per square metre for machine areas and general gym floors.
• Premium — a finer, tighter granule for a smoother surface finish and cleaner fleck. The pick for front-of-house and boutique studios.
• EPDM — colour-through granules that hold their colour under UV and heavy traffic instead of fading to grey. For floors that are on show.

Colour

Samples are sent in a random colour from that grade's range unless you tell us otherwise. If you need a specific colour or fleck — say, red fleck Commercial or grey fleck EPDM — add it in the order notes at checkout and we'll do our best to match it from what's in stock.

• Density and feel — how firm it is underfoot and under a dropped weight
• Surface finish — texture, grip and how it cleans
• Colour and fleck — how it reads in your lighting, against your walls
• Thickness — 15mm is our most common spec; use the sample to judge whether you need 20mm for a free-weight zone
• Edge quality — how cleanly it cuts and butts against a neighbour

Technical Specifications

FAQs

Is the sample the same as the full tile?
Yes. It's cut from the same 1m x 1m tile we ship to customers, not a separate sample-grade product.

Can I pick the colour?
Add your preferred colour in the order notes at checkout. We'll match it if we have it in stock. If we can't, we'll send the closest option from that grade.

Can I get a 20mm sample?
Samples are cut at approximately 15mm. If you're deciding between 15mm and 20mm, the 15mm sample tells you the density and finish — the extra 5mm is the same material, just thicker.

Is the sample cost refunded if I order a floor?
Contact us when you place your full order and we'll sort it out.

Do you sell samples of the vinyl or turf ranges?
