The Morgan Uppercut Punch Bag is a horizontal bag built for one job: drilling uppercuts and close-range punches. Hanging on its side, it presents a long underside to drive uppercuts into, which a vertical bag can't give you properly. It measures 100cm long and 30cm wide and weighs approx. 25kg filled.
It's made from 850D ripstop vinyl, with two reinforced nylon hanging straps sewn along the full length of the bag to spread the load and stop the bag from sagging. The Filled version uses a premium blend of Australian-made fleece and cotton for a dense, safe striking target. Choose Filled to hang it straight away, or Empty to fill it on site and save on freight.

Why use a horizontal uppercut bag?
A vertical bag only gives you a glancing angle for uppercuts. Hanging the bag on its side gives you a flat underside to drive the punch into, so you can work proper uppercut mechanics, plus straight punches and hooks to the side.
Empty or Filled: which should I buy?
Filled arrives ready to hang. Empty is the shell only and is much cheaper to freight. Fill it with Punch Bag Fill Material or fabric off-cuts packed tight, adding weight gradually until the firmness suits. Avoid filling with sand alone; it compacts rock-hard at the base.
What do I need to hang it?
It hangs level from its two long straps. Connect the straps to a chain and swivel set and hang it from a rated ceiling hook, bag stand or wall bracket such as our folding punch bag hanger. Use a snap hook carabiner as a safety lock on the chain.
Is there a bigger version?
Yes. The Morgan Super Uppercut Punch Bag [150cm] is 150 x 35cm and approx. 50kg filled, with three hanging straps, and suits more than one user at a time.
