The Morgan Super Uppercut Punch Bag is a large horizontal bag for drilling uppercuts and close-range punching. At 150cm long, 35cm wide and approx. 50kg filled, it's long enough for more than one person to train on it at a time, which makes it a good fit for boxing gyms and group classes.
It's made from 1000D ripstop vinyl with three reinforced nylon hanging straps sewn along the full length of the bag and reinforced with rivets, so the load is spread and the bag hangs level. The Filled version uses a premium blend of Australian-made fleece and cotton for a dense, safe striking target. Choose Filled to hang it straight away, or Empty to fill it on site and save on freight.

Why use a horizontal uppercut bag?
A vertical bag only gives you a glancing angle for uppercuts. Hanging the bag on its side gives you a flat underside to drive the punch into, so you can work proper uppercut mechanics, plus straight punches and hooks to the side.
Empty or Filled: which should I buy?
Filled arrives ready to hang. Empty is the shell only and is much cheaper to freight. Fill it with Punch Bag Fill Material or fabric off-cuts packed tight, adding weight gradually until the firmness suits. Avoid filling with sand alone; it compacts rock-hard at the base.
What do I need to hang it?
It hangs level from its three long straps. Use a chain set and a rated ceiling hook, beam mount or bracket that can take a 50kg bag plus the force of strikes. A snap hook carabiner on each connection adds a safety lock.
Is there a smaller version?
Yes. The Morgan Uppercut Punch Bag [100cm] is 100 x 30cm and approx. 25kg filled, which suits home gyms and smaller rooms.
