Hang a full-size heavy bag without giving up floor space for good. This commercial-grade wall bracket holds bags up to 150kg, then swings flat against the wall when the bag comes down, freeing up the room for classes, circuits or parking the car in a home garage.

Built from 9kg of MG-steel and fixed with a 6-bolt plate, the hanger is made for the dynamic load of full-power strikes. Powder-coated brackets over a red oxide anti-rust treatment protect it in humid gyms, garages and covered outdoor areas. A D shackle and wall fixings are supplied.

What wall can I mount it on?
Solid masonry, concrete or a structural timber stud rated for the load. A hanging heavy bag puts far more force on the wall than its weight when it's struck, so plasterboard alone is never suitable. If in doubt, have a builder check the wall before installing.

How much room does the bag need?
The arm projects 61cm, putting the bag's centre well off the wall. Allow clear space around the bag for footwork and swing, and hang it so the base sits comfortably clear of the floor.

What do I need to hang my bag?
The D shackle attaches to the arm; add a punch bag chain & swivel set if your bag didn't come with one, and a snap hook carabiner as a safety lock on the chain.
