The Max Strength V2 is a four-post training cage built for progressive overload over years, not months. The 60 × 60 × 2mm Q235 steel frame gives it the rigidity heavy compound work demands, and 35 adjustment positions mean the bar sits exactly where you want it for squats, bench, overhead press and rack pulls — not near enough.

At a metre square and 2.1m tall, it is one of the most compact true four-post cages you can buy — it fits under a standard ceiling and into a single parking bay of a garage, with two 38cm safety arms for solo training and an integrated multi-grip chin-up bar on top.

Attachments — Sold Separately

This rack is 60 × 60mm with 26mm holes, so it takes our entire 60mm attachment range. Our 75mm attachments are built for a heavier frame and will not fit.

• Add 60mm J-Hooks (26mm pin) — spare or replacement hooks, tested past 800kg. Take the 26mm version for this rack, not the 25mm.
• Add 60mm Spotter Arms — rubber-lined arms for pressing outside the cage
• Add 60mm Jammer Arms — plate-loaded pressing, rowing and explosive work

Frequently Asked Questions

How much ceiling height do I need?
The rack stands 2100mm tall, so it clears a standard 2.4m ceiling with room above the multi-grip bar — allow head clearance if you plan full chin-ups over the bar.

Which attachments fit this rack?
The 60mm range. The frame is 60 × 60 tube with 26mm holes, so 60mm spotter arms, jammer arms and plate sleeves mount straight on, and J-hooks need the 26mm pin version. Anything listed for 75mm uprights is a different rack family and will not fit.

Can I train alone on it?
That is what the cage is for. Set the two 38cm safety arms just below your working depth and a failed rep lands on steel rather than on you.

What can I train in it?
Squats, bench press, overhead press, rack pulls and pull-ups from the integrated multi-grip bar. Add jammer arms and you get pressing, rowing and hinge work from the same frame.

Do I need to bolt it down?
At around 51kg of frame it is stable free-standing for controlled barbell work, and lighter to move than most cages. Bolt it down if you plan kipping pull-ups or regularly bailing heavy bars — that is when lateral forces get interesting.

What flooring should go under it?
Rubber. It protects the slab, cuts noise and stops the rack walking. See our commercial gym flooring range.
