The low row is the pull that builds the mid back - lats pulled down and in, rhomboids and mid traps squeezed hard at the finish. The Vortex Low Row runs it on independent plate-loaded arms with your chest on an ergonomic pad, so the lower back is out of the lift and every kilo on the horns goes into the pull.

Multi-grip handles let you change where the contraction lands, precision bearings keep the rowing path fluid, and a 163kg frame of 3mm commercial steel stays put through the heaviest sets.

Production typically takes around 14 days, with 4–6 weeks shipping to our Sydney warehouse — an estimated 8–12 weeks start to finish. Direct-to-site delivery can also be arranged.

Frequently Asked Questions

Low row or lateral row?
Both are chest-supported, independent-arm rows. The low row pulls from a lower start position, which drives the lats down and in; the Vortex Lateral Row pulls on a higher, wider line for the upper back. Big floors run both.

Why chest supported?
With the chest braced, the lower back and hips can't help, so the row stays strict however heavy it gets and the mid back takes the whole load.

What plates does it take?
Standard Olympic plates - bumpers, rubber-coated or iron. Plates are sold separately.

What pairs with it for back?
The Vortex Fixed Pulldown - vertical pull there, horizontal pull here.

Can I choose my own colours?
