The Armaplus is the glove Sting sells more of than any other, and the reason is simple: it does the everyday work - bag, pads, classes, technical sparring - without the weight, heat or price of a leather sparring glove. The high-performance T3 outer is light and manages moisture and temperature, so your hands stay cooler and drier through a full session, and the matte finish holds up to constant bag contact.

Inside, an anatomically designed square-shouldered mould sets the hand in a natural fist with the wrist aligned, the Hi-Flow Core system spreads the glove weight evenly for a balanced feel, and a shock-absorbent system takes the sting out of repeated impact. Sting's patented floating liner sits between hand and padding to cushion the fit and cut internal wear, and a 3-inch hook-and-loop wrist strap locks it all down.

Glove weight is padding, not hand size - all weights use the same adult hand pattern. Try them on over hand wraps, as that's how you'll train.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these good for beginners?
Yes - this is the glove we'd point most first-time buyers to. It's light, comfortable straight out of the box, easy to get on and off, and the square-shoulder mould helps you make a correct fist while you're still learning.

Can I spar in these?
In 16oz, light-to-moderate sparring is fine. For regular hard sparring a dedicated sparring glove with more padding and wrist support - the Viper X - is the better tool and kinder to your partner.

Are they leather?
No. The T3 outer is a lightweight synthetic - it's what keeps the glove light and cool and the price where it is. Sting's leather-outer gloves sit in the Viper range.

How do I care for them?
Pull the strap open and let them air dry after every session - never leave them zipped in a bag. Wipe the outer with a damp cloth and use a glove deodoriser for the liner. Keep them out of direct sun and hot cars.

Sting Sports products carry a 180-day manufacturing warranty from the date of invoice, covering the structural integrity of the product - major production faults and damage present before delivery - when used for its intended purpose with reasonable care. It doesn't cover normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage (including the expected impact wear on gloves and mitts), misuse, improper storage in moist conditions or direct sunlight, poor maintenance, or alterations.
