The HS-X Lat Pulldown is the classic cable version of the gym's defining back movement: full-height pulley, bar overhead, thighs locked under the pads, and a 96kg pin stack on the other end of the cable. Wide grip, close grip, underhand - the cable takes any attachment and every grip, which is exactly why the pulldown tower never leaves the floor plan.

The high pulley gives the lats their full overhead stretch - the start position that builds back width - and the free cable rewards control on the way down and the way up. Adjustable thigh pads lock every user size in place for strict, heavy pulling.

Built on 11-gauge carbon steel at 202kg with polyurethane pads and premium PU leather, it's the back station every program is written around.

What muscles does it work?
The lats and upper back primarily, with the biceps assisting - the vertical pull that builds back width and pulls posture upright.

Cable pulldown vs fixed-arm pulldown?
The cable is the classic: full overhead stretch, any grip or attachment, and the control demand that experienced lifters want. The fixed-arm version runs a guided path that's easier to learn and shorter in height. Big floors run both; if you want the traditional pulldown with all its variety, this is it.

Is it beginner-friendly?
Yes - seated with thigh pads locking you in, and the pin stack starts light. The free cable rewards learning control, and the movement itself is one of the first every lifter is taught.

Will it fit in my space?
The tower stands 2265mm tall, so allow clearance under a standard 2.4m ceiling and check door access for delivery - our team can advise on both.

Can I upgrade the weight stack?

Commercial Grade custom made to order products

You can now design your own custom made equipment to suit your own requirements. Simply let us know the colour or finish you would like on the products and we will do the rest.

Once an order has been placed, your equipment will be manufactured upon request. This process generally takes around 14 days depending on the size of each product.

Once the production is finished, it can take 4-6 weeks to be delivered to Sydney. Once it has arrived in our warehouse, we will arrange shipment to your location. Prior arrangement can also be made to ship items direct to you.

Estimated start to finish process: 8 - 12 weeks
