Do I need a barbell with this?
This package is plates only - ideal if you already own a bar or you're loading machines. Need a bar too? Add the Harden Chrome 700lb barbell, or go straight to a bar + plates package with collars included.

Tri grip plates or bumper plates - which should I choose?
Tri grip plates are easier to carry, load and store thanks to their moulded handles, and the rubber coating protects floors and equipment in general strength training. If your programme involves dropping the bar from overhead, choose EPDM bumper plates instead: they're built to be dropped.

60, 80, 100 or 150kg - which package?
This 60kg set (15/10/5kg pairs) suits beginners and machine loading. The 80kg set swaps in 20kg pairs for barbell work, the 100kg set runs four pair sizes for the smoothest progressions, and the 150kg set adds 25kg pairs for heavy strength work.

Will the plates fit my equipment?
Yes - the 50mm Olympic bore fits leg press machines, plate loaded machines, Smith machines and any standard Olympic bar. This is one convenient order for the full starter spread.

Can I add more weight later?
