The DMG Dual Density Mouthguard combines two materials in one guard: a softer, mouldable layer that forms to your teeth and a firmer base that absorbs impact. It's a boil-and-bite guard with a quick-boil design, so fitting it takes less fuss.

Reinforced shock zones in the molar area back up the back teeth where clenching forces are highest, and the mouldable bite area helps the guard stay put. Front ventilation holes let you breathe more easily during rounds or long plays.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fit it?
Read the instructions in the pack first, as heating times vary between guards. As a general guide: bring water to the boil and take it off the heat, dip the guard in for the time stated, lift it out and let the excess water drain for a few seconds. Place it over your top teeth, bite down firmly and press it against your teeth and gums with your tongue and fingers while sucking out air and water. Hold for the time stated, then set it in cold water. Never boil the guard on the stove or put it in your mouth straight from the water.

What does dual density mean?
The guard is made from two materials: a softer layer that moulds to your teeth for fit and comfort, and a firmer layer that spreads and absorbs impact.

How do I look after it?
Rinse it in cool water after every session, let it air-dry and store it in a ventilated case. Keep it out of hot water, direct sun and hot cars, which can distort the fit. Our Clear Mouthguard Case has vent holes for drying.

Can I use it with braces?
If you wear braces or have other dental work, check with your dentist or orthodontist before fitting any off-the-shelf mouthguard.
