The Yamasaki Gold 14oz Brushed Canvas Karate Uniform in white is the heaviest gi in the Yamasaki range, made for experienced karateka, kata and competition. The 100% cotton canvas is heavy enough for hard training but still easy to wash.
The fabric is brushed for a soft feel without losing its strength. Multi-row stitching at the ends of the sleeves and pant legs gives a clean, crisp snap, and both jacket and pants have reinforced, double-stitched flat seams. The pants have a drawstring waist, a full cut and a 3-piece gusset.

Who is a 14oz uniform for?
Heavyweight canvas suits experienced students, black belts, kata and competition. If you're new to karate, a lighter 8oz or 10oz gi is more comfortable to start in.
Will it shrink?
Cotton canvas can shrink slightly. Wash cold and hang to dry, and if you're between sizes, go up a size.
Is a belt included?

Can you add our club logo?
Yes. We embroider front logos, kanji and round logos, and back logos. See Custom Embroidery above for pricing per uniform.
