The Commercial White Fleck Rubber Gym Flooring tile is SBR rubber with a 15% white fleck - a hard-wearing 1m x 1m x 15mm tile for weightlifting, high-impact workouts and everyday training in home and commercial gyms. One tile covers one square metre.

Each tile weighs 13.5kg with a density of 1000kg/m³ and a hardness of 62 Shore A, so it absorbs impact from dumbbells, kettlebells and machines, reduces noise and protects the subfloor. The surface is non-slip, the edges are bevelled, and the tiles are fire tested by SGS to EN 13501-1:2018 with an Efl classification.

Commercial or Premium?

Our white fleck 1m x 1m x 15mm tile comes in two grades. Both are made from the same durable rubber, so the choice comes down to the surface finish and whether you want a reversible tile.

• Commercial White Fleck (this tile) - textured, non-slip surface, designed for single-sided use
• Premium White Fleck - smoother top finish that's more comfortable for barefoot work such as yoga and stretching, and reversible, with the fleck on one side and a smooth finish on the other

Technical Specifications

Independently Tested & Certified

These tiles have been independently tested by SGS to the EN 13501-1:2018 fire safety standard and achieved a fire classification of Efl, indicating limited flame spread and low ignitability - a rating that makes them suitable for use in commercial gym environments.

The certification is available on request for gym owners, facility managers and commercial fit-outs - contact us and we'll send it through.

How Many Tiles Do I Need?

Each tile is 1m x 1m and covers 1 m², so the number of tiles you need is your floor area in square metres. Multiply the length by the width in metres, round up, and add a few spare tiles for cuts around walls, columns and equipment.

• Spare room or PT corner (about 12 square metres) - 13 tiles
• Single garage (about 18 square metres) - 19-20 tiles
• Double garage (about 36 square metres) - 38-40 tiles

Installation Tips

1. Prepare the area: make sure the subfloor is clean, dry and level so the tiles sit flat
2. Start in a corner: work outward, pushing each tile firmly against the last so there are no gaps
3. Cut to fit: trim around corners and obstacles with a sharp utility knife and a straight edge, scoring several passes rather than forcing one cut
4. Secure if required: in high-traffic areas, fix the edges with adhesive or heavy-duty tape for added stability

Is 15mm thick enough for my gym?
Yes for home gyms, commercial gyms and cross training boxes. It absorbs impact from dumbbells, kettlebells and machines, reduces noise and protects the subfloor. For repeated heavy barbell drops, add a lifting platform.

Is it fire rated?
Yes. The tiles are independently tested by SGS to EN 13501-1:2018 and rated Efl, which means low ignitability and limited flame spread. The certification is available on request for commercial fit-outs.

Can I mix it with other colours?
Yes. The Commercial range also comes in Black, Blue Fleck, Red Fleck and Grey Fleck, all in the same 1m x 1m x 15mm format, so you can lay coloured zones or walkways inside a black floor.

What warranty does it come with?
