A squat that moves through an arc instead of a straight line. The Vortex Squat Trainer V2 carries the load on padded shoulder supports and runs it on a plate-loaded lever, so the squat follows a natural, supported arc to full depth - no barbell on the spine, no rack, no spotter - with a large standing platform that takes wide, narrow and staggered stances.

The guided path keeps the load controlled through the whole range, the lever arc supports full-depth squatting with confidence, and a 180.5kg frame of 3mm commercial steel stays planted under every rep.

Squat Trainer or Squat Trainer V2?
The original Squat Trainer runs a carriage on a vertical track with safety stops. The V2 runs the load on a lever arm through a natural arc, with a larger platform for stance variety. Both carry the weight on shoulder pads rather than a bar.

Can I train alone?
Yes - the load is carried by the lever and shoulder pads, so there is no bar to rack and members can squat to failure without a spotter.

What plates does it take?
Standard Olympic plates - bumpers, rubber-coated or iron. Plates are sold separately.

What pairs with it for legs?
