The Sting 6 Inch Eco Leather Lifting Belt is the wide-profile version of Sting's traditional suede leather weightlifting belt, built for lifters who want more lower back coverage than a standard 4-inch belt gives. The heavy-duty suede leather body provides a non-slip surface that stays put under load, while extra-thick memory foam padding cushions the whole lumbar region.

A heavy-gauge two-prong stainless steel roller buckle locks the belt at your chosen tension and adjusts quickly between sets. Every seam is lock-stitched with corrosion-resistant high-density nylon thread so the belt holds up to years of sweat and chalk.

The 6-inch width is the lumbar-coverage option in the Sting Eco Leather range - best for taller lifters, heavy squat and deadlift days, and anyone who wants a firm, wide back support belt for training or manual work. Sizing Chart

Lifting belts are worn above the hips, around the navel - not at your jeans waistline. Measure around your midsection at navel height with your core relaxed, over the clothing you train in, then use the Sting chart below. A prong belt has fixed holes, so if you land at the top of a size, go up one for room to tighten as the leather breaks in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a 6 inch belt dig into my ribs or hips?
It can on shorter torsos, particularly at the bottom of a squat. Measure the gap between the bottom of your ribcage and the top of your hip bone at the side - if it's under about 15cm, the 4 inch Eco Leather will sit more comfortably.

Is this a competition powerlifting belt?

Leather or neoprene in the 6 inch?
Leather gives a firmer brace for heavy squats and deadlifts; neoprene is softer, warmer and more comfortable for all-day wear at work. If you mainly want it under a bar, stay with leather; for warehouse or trade use the 6 Inch Neo is the better fit.

How do I care for it?
Wipe down with a damp cloth after training and air dry away from direct sun. Don't soak, machine wash or leave it in a hot car - heat dries and cracks leather and breaks down the foam padding.
