The HS-X Inverted Row is the chest-supported row that takes the lower back out of the equation. Lean into the pad, grab the handles, and pull against the 96kg pin stack - with the torso braced, the upper back, lats and rear delts do the work and there's no spine to protect and no body-english to hide behind.

Three grip positions - wide, neutral and close - shift the pull across the back, so one station covers the whole horizontal-pulling menu: width from the wide grip, thickness from the neutral, lats from the close. Adjustable settings line up users of every size, and one pin changes the load from warm-up to working sets.

Built on 11-gauge carbon steel at 234kg with polyurethane pads and premium PU leather, it's the row station members can load hard from the first session.

What muscles does it target?
Primarily the lats, rhomboids and mid-traps, with the rear deltoids and biceps assisting - the complete horizontal pulling pattern that builds back thickness and pulls posture upright.

Inverted row vs seated low row - which should I choose?
Both are horizontal pulls. The chest pad on this machine locks the torso, so the lower back does nothing and the pull stays strict even at heavy loads. The seated low row is the classic cable feel with a footplate to brace against. Big floors run both; see the HS-X Lat Low Row.

Why choose pin loaded over plate loaded?
Speed - change the weight with one pin instead of loading plates, which matters in busy commercial settings and for circuit or PT work. No plate storage or handling required.

Is it beginner-friendly?
Very - lean in, grab a handle, pull. The chest support removes the technique barrier of a bent-over row, and the pin stack starts light.

Can I upgrade the weight stack?
Yes - on made-to-order builds the 96kg + 4.6kg stack can be increased to 117kg + 4.6kg or 138kg + 4.6kg at $10 per extra kilogram. Specify at the time of ordering. Contact us to arrange.

Can I customise the frame and upholstery?

How much space do I need?
The footprint is 1280 x 860mm and it stands 1915mm tall, so it clears a standard 2.4m ceiling. Allow clear access at the front for users to step in and out.

You can now design your own custom made equipment to suit your own requirements. Simply let us know the colour or finish you would like on the products and we will do the rest.

Once an order has been placed, your equipment will be manufactured upon request. This process generally takes around 14 days depending on the size of each product.

Once the production is finished, it can take 4-6 weeks to be delivered to Sydney. Once it has arrived in our warehouse, we will arrange shipment to your location. Prior arrangement can also be made to ship items direct to you.

Estimated start to finish process: 8 - 12 weeks
