Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fit a double mouth guard?
Read the instructions in the pack first, as heating times vary. As a general guide: bring water to the boil and take it off the heat, dip the guard in for the time stated, then lift it out and let the excess water drain for a few seconds. Place it in your mouth, bite down evenly into the channels and suck out air and water while pressing it against your teeth and gums. Hold for the time stated, then set it in cold water. Never boil the guard on the stove.

Can I talk with it in?
Because it covers both arches, talking is limited while it's in. The breathable channel lets you breathe with your jaw closed, which is what matters during rounds.

Is there a junior size?
This listing is the adult size only.

Can I use it with braces?
If you wear braces or have other dental work, check with your dentist or orthodontist before fitting any off-the-shelf mouthguard.
