The Morgan Crash Mat is an Australian-made 1.8m x 1.2m x 60cm landing mat for breaking falls safely. At 60cm deep, it is the deepest mat in the Morgan crash mat range here, for higher falls and drops. Morgan builds it in its own factory from locally sourced components, for gyms, martial arts and MMA rooms, gymnastics and sports clubs, and schools.

The closed-cell, medium-density foam core is firm enough to stand on but soft enough to absorb shoulder throws, body drops and landings. It is covered in 850D Australian ripstop vinyl that is hard-wearing and non-abrasive on skin, with air release eyelets so trapped air can escape on impact. Velcro flaps on the ends join it to other Morgan mats, and two industrial webbing carry handles make it easier to move.

This mat is covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects under the Flooring & Mats schedule of our Warranty Policy. It does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or punctures, compression from equipment left standing on it, or UV fading. What is a crash mat used for?
Crash mats give a deep, cushioned landing zone for falls and drops, such as gymnastics dismounts, high-jump style landings, throws and break-fall practice. For everyday takedown drills a thinner take down and landing mat is usually easier to work on.

Can I join it to other mats?
Yes. Velcro flaps on the ends let you connect it to other Morgan mats to build a larger landing area.

How do I move and store it?
Use the two webbing carry handles, ideally with two people. Store it flat in a dry place, out of direct sunlight, and avoid parking heavy equipment on it so the foam does not stay compressed.

How do I clean it?
Wipe the vinyl cover down with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, then let it air dry.
