The Morgan Take Down & Landing Mat is made in Australia by Morgan Sports from locally sourced foam and vinyl. It gives martial arts, MMA, wrestling and tactical training rooms a firm, cushioned surface for takedowns, shoulder throws and body drops, with enough density to stand and move on comfortably.

The core is closed-cell foam, covered in 850D Australian ripstop vinyl that is hard-wearing and non-abrasive on skin. Air release eyelets let trapped air escape on impact, and Velcro flaps on the ends let you join it to more Morgan mats as your training area grows. Choose from two 1.8m x 90cm panels (5cm or 10cm), a 1.8m x 1.8m x 15cm landing mat or a 2.5m x 2m x 10cm mat.

This mat is covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects under the Flooring & Mats schedule of our Warranty Policy. It does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or punctures, compression from equipment left standing on it, or UV fading. Which size should I choose?
The 1.8m x 90cm panels (5cm or 10cm) suit takedown and break-fall drills and can be joined into a larger area. The 1.8m x 1.8m x 15cm mat is the thickest option for repeated throws and higher-impact landings, and the 2.5m x 2m x 10cm mat gives one large, seamless landing zone.

Can I join these mats together?
Yes. Velcro flaps on the ends let you connect this mat to other Morgan mats so you can extend your landing area over time.

Is this a crash mat?
It is a firmer, thinner takedown and landing mat for throws and drills. For high falls and drops, look at a deeper crash mat such as the 30cm or 60cm Morgan crash mats.

How do I clean it?
Wipe the vinyl cover down with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, then let it air dry before stacking or storing.
