The Morgan Alpha 6ft Boxing Bag is a commercially designed punch bag made for high-volume use. It measures 183cm high and 35cm wide and weighs approximately 65-70kg filled. At 6ft (183cm) this is the longest bag in the Alpha range. The full length takes everything from head shots to low kicks, which makes it the pick for Muay Thai, kickboxing and busy commercial gyms.
The shell is 1000D ripstop vinyl. Four reinforced 8mm steel triangle rings pass through leather patches with added rivets, giving the top a non-sag finish, and a tie-down loop at the base lets you anchor the bag to stop it swinging. Hanging chains and a swivel are included.
Choose your variant: the Filled bag is packed with a premium blend of Australian-made fleece and cotton for a dense, safe striking target. The Empty bag is the shell only, which is lighter and cheaper to ship so you can fill it yourself.

Empty or Filled: which should I buy?
Filled arrives ready to hang. Empty is the shell only and is much cheaper to freight. Fill it with Punch Bag Fill Material (you'll need around 65-70kg, or three to four 20kg boxes) or fabric off-cuts packed down tight in layers. Avoid filling with sand alone, as it sets rock-hard at the base.
Which size should I choose: 4ft, 5ft or 6ft?
All three share the same 35cm diameter and construction. The 4ft suits punching only, the 5ft adds low kicks, and the 6ft covers full Muay Thai and kickboxing work. Compare the Morgan Alpha bag in 4ft or 5ft.
What do I need to hang it?
A structural beam, a rated wall or ceiling bracket, or a heavy-duty bag stand rated well above the bag's approx. 65-70kg, to handle the load of full-power strikes. The chains and swivel are supplied. Add a snap hook carabiner as a safety lock on the chain.
