The Morgan 5ft Platinum Tackle Bag is the senior-size stand-up and takedown tackle bag in Morgan's Platinum range, used by many league clubs across Australia. At about 150cm tall and 40cm wide it's built for senior and first-grade players drilling full tackling technique at game intensity.

It's filled with one-piece Australian-made open cell foam in a medium-to-high density, giving a firmer impact than the junior bags without the almost rock-hard landing of some cheaper imported tackle bags. A heavy-duty ripstop vinyl cover resists tearing over multiple seasons, nylon webbed seatbelt handles on each side make it easy to carry and hold, and a reinforced double-layer drag flap protects the base when it's moved between drills.

Is the 5ft bag suitable for juniors?
It's sized and filled for senior and first-grade players. For juniors, the 3ft (Mini) or 4ft (older juniors) Platinum bags are a better fit.

How firm is it?
It uses medium-to-high density open cell foam - firmer than the junior bags to suit bigger, heavier tacklers, while still cushioning the landing.

Can it be held like a shield?
Yes. The rear nylon strap handles let a coach hold it upright like a bump shield for warm-ups, tackling, grappling and bumping drills.

How do I look after it?
Wipe the vinyl clean after muddy sessions, let it dry fully, and store it out of direct sunlight and off wet ground between sessions.
