Hybrid Grass Rubber Tiles | Astro Turf Gym Flooring

1000mm x 1000mm Tiles | Approx. 18mm Thick | Turf Top on a 15mm Recycled Rubber Base

Hybrid Grass Rubber Tiles put a synthetic turf surface on a dense recycled rubber base, so you get the look and grip of turf with the shock absorption of rubber flooring. Each tile is 1000mm x 1000mm and approximately 18mm thick, and the modular format lets you build a turf zone to suit your space, indoors or outdoors.

They suit functional training zones, sled work, indoor golf putting areas and children's outdoor play spaces, in settings from gyms and childcare centres to golf clubs and backyard training pads. The loose-lay design needs no adhesive for most installs, which makes the tiles easy to transport, install and replace.

Hybrid Tiles or Turf Rolls?

Choose hybrid tiles when you want cushioning under the turf and a modular floor. The 15mm recycled rubber base adds shock absorption, the tiles loose-lay without glue for most installs, and a single tile can be replaced on its own.

Choose a turf roll when you want one continuous surface for a dedicated sled or sprint lane. Our astro turf rolls lay straight onto concrete with heavy-duty Velcro under the seams, and our sled turf uses a curl weave that power sleds glide over.

Key Features

  • Dual-layer construction - synthetic grass top fused to a durable 15mm recycled rubber base
  • Green curved grass - realistic look and feel, engineered for commercial and sporting use

  • Shock absorbing and slip resistant - protects both users and the floor beneath
  • Low maintenance - easy to clean and highly resistant to wear, UV and impact
  • Loose-lay modular tiles - no adhesive needed for most installs
  • Indoor and outdoor use - suits gyms, outdoor training areas, golf areas and children's play spaces

How Many Tiles Do I Need?

Each tile is 1000mm x 1000mm, so one tile covers 1 m². Measure the length and width of your area in metres and multiply them: the result in square metres is the number of tiles you need. Round up to the next whole tile where your measurements aren't whole metres.

Installation Tips

  • Prepare the base - lay the tiles on a firm, clean and level surface
  • Work from a straight edge - start along a straight wall or edge and work outwards, butting each tile tightly against its neighbours
  • Loose-lay - most installs need no adhesive
  • Plan the layout - work out your tile count from the coverage guide above before you start
