A leg press built around the range of motion. The Vortex Leg Press uses a refined pressing angle that lets you sink deep and press through comfortably, with a large footplate that takes wide, narrow and high-foot stances to shift the work between quads, glutes and hamstrings.

Plate loading suits every level from first session to heavy sets, the supported seat keeps the spine out of it, and a 210kg frame of 3mm commercial steel is built for daily high-volume use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where should I put my feet?
Higher on the plate shifts the work toward the glutes and hamstrings; lower brings in more quad; wider brings in the adductors. The footplate is big enough to use all three in the same session.

Leg press or linear leg press?
This one is built around range of motion and a comfortable pressing angle. The Vortex Linear Leg Press runs a straight track on a much heavier frame for maximum load. Big floors run both.

What plates does it take?
Standard Olympic plates - bumpers, rubber-coated or iron. Plates are sold separately.

What pairs with it for legs?
The Vortex Leg Extension and Vortex Kneeling Leg Curl for the isolation work around the press.

Can I choose my own colours?
