The smallest rack in our range: the Fitness Hero 5 Pair Vertical Rack stores five pairs of light dumbbells straight up in a slim steel tower that tucks into corners, beside benches and behind studio doors where no other rack fits. If your training runs on lighter pairs - home workouts, group fitness, physio and rehab sets - this keeps them tidy, visible and off the floor for under a hundred dollars.

Construction matches our bigger racks: a 10cm x 7cm steel U-channel spine with rubber pads that hold each pair securely and protect the handles, on a 50mm x 50mm box steel base that sits flat on any floor surface, all galvanised and powder-coated for years of daily use.

Important fit note: this rack suits dumbbells up to 12.5kg (hex) - it will not hold larger pairs. For bigger dumbbells, see the FAQ below.

A: 12.5kg hex dumbbells are the maximum - please don't size up past that. If your set runs heavier, the 6 Pair Vertical Rack takes pairs up to 20kg at the same price point, and our 3 Tier Racks carry the truly heavy stuff.

Q: 5 Pair or 6 Pair vertical - which one?
A: This 5 Pair is the smaller, slimmer tower for light sets up to 12.5kg. The 6 Pair holds one more pair and takes dumbbells up to 20kg - if in doubt, or if your weights will grow, go the 6 Pair.

Q: Hex or round dumbbells?
A: Both, up to the 12.5kg limit - the rubber pads suit the vast majority of light dumbbells on the market.
