Reload Leverage Squat Machine - Watson Style Plate Loaded Pendulum Squat

Leverage Squat + Standing Calf Raise | 20° Footplate | 300kg Rated | 5-Year Frame Warranty

PLEASE NOTE: PRE ORDER ITEM

ETA: January

TheReload Leverage Squat is a Watson-style pendulum squat: a plate-loaded arm that swings through a fixed arc while you stand on a20° pitched footplate with the load carried oncontoured shoulder pads. The arc puts the resistance where the legs are strongest and takes the balancing act - and most of the spinal compression - out of a heavy squat.

That's why pendulum squats have become a staple for quad and glute development: you can go deep, load heavy and hit the bottom position hard without a barbell across your back or a spotter behind you. Then step across to the integrated square calf block and finish with standing calf raises on the same machine - two lower-body stations on one footprint.

Built to a semi-commercial spec in heavy steel with a matte black finish, rated to 300kg and fitted with Olympic plate storage pegs, it suits home gyms, PT studios and light commercial floors. Olympic plates are not included, and any bench or other equipment shown in the photos is not included.

Key Features

  • Dual function: leverage (pendulum) squat and standing calf raise on one machine.
  • Fixed pendulum arc: a natural squat path with the balance demand removed - safe to load heavy without a spotter.
  • 20° pitched heavy-duty footplate: optimal quad and glute engagement with room for narrow, wide, high and low stances.
  • Contoured shoulder pads: extra-thick high-density foam keeps heavy loads comfortable.
  • Square calf block: stable platform for isolated standing calf raises.
  • Olympic plate loaded: 50mm sleeves, with built-in weight storage pegs.
  • 300kg load capacity: semi-commercial steel frame in a matte black finish.
  • Compact footprint: 1150 x 1560mm - fits a home gym or studio leg corner.

FAQs

What is a leverage or pendulum squat?
A squat machine where the load hangs on an arm that swings through a fixed arc rather than sliding on rails. The arc lets the hips travel naturally, so it feels closer to a free squat than a hack squat does, while the shoulder pads and footplate keep everything stable and spotter-free.

Pendulum squat, hack squat or V squat - which should I choose?
A hack squat runs on a fixed straight sled; a V squat pivots on a lever arm behind you; a pendulum squat swings the load on an arm above you and is generally the most knee-friendly and the best for deep, quad-focused reps. See the Solaris Hack Squat and Solaris V Squat to compare.

Can I really train calves on it?
Yes - stand on the square calf block with the shoulder pads loaded and you have a standing calf raise with a full stretch at the bottom. It's the same movement as a dedicated calf machine, without the extra footprint.

Is it commercial grade?
It's built to a semi-commercial spec - the right machine for home gyms, PT studios and lighter commercial floors, backed by a 5-year frame warranty. For a 24/7 high-traffic floor, look at the full-commercial Solaris V Squat.

How much weight can I load?
It's rated to 300kg, on 50mm Olympic sleeves.

Are plates included?
No - it takes standard Olympic plates, sold separately. See our Olympic plates; add them to your order and we'll freight everything together.

Will it fit in my garage?
The footprint is 1150 x 1560mm and it stands 1450mm tall, so it clears any standard ceiling. Allow room in front to step on and off the footplate and at the sides to load plates.

Do you offer delivery and installation?
