The Nova Series Rear Kick Back Machine is the strict-form glute builder - a plate-loaded machine that isolates the gluteus maximus through a controlled single-leg rear extension, with the torso fully supported so the lower back stays out of the lift.

Where hip thrusts build overall glute strength under heavy load, the kick back is the finisher and the fixer: one leg at a time, a locked movement path, and no way to cheat the rep. That's why it's become a staple in glute-focused studios and a queue-former in commercial gyms.

Built on a heavy-duty commercial steel frame with an angled, textured foot platform and high-density support padding, it's engineered for high-traffic daily use - and with a footprint of roughly 1.5m x 1.1m, it fits a PT studio as easily as a full-scale facility.

FAQs

Kick back or hip thrust - which should I get?
They do different jobs. A hip thrust machine builds maximum glute strength under heavy bilateral load; the kick back isolates one glute at a time with the torso locked in, so it's the strict-form builder and the tool for fixing left-right imbalances. Serious glute floors run both - browse the full hip & glute range to pair them.

What plates does it take?
Standard Olympic (50mm) plates - the same plates as the rest of your floor. Plates are sold separately; add them to your order and we will freight everything together.

Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes - the supported torso position and fixed movement path make it one of the easiest glute movements to teach with strict form, and it progresses as far as you can load it.

Will it fit my space?
The footprint is roughly 1.5m x 1.1m with a height of 1.6m. Allow standing room behind the machine for entry and loading.

Can I customise the frame and upholstery?
Yes - made-to-order builds are available in 16 frame colours and 12 upholstery colours on an 8-12 week lead time. See the full colour chart below.

Made To Order

Commercial Grade custom made to order products

You can now design your own custom made equipment to suit your own requirements. Simply let us know the colour or finish you would like on the products and we will do the rest.

Once an order has been placed, your equipment will be manufactured upon request. This process generally takes around 14 days depending on the size of each product.

Once the production is finished, it can take 4-6 weeks to be delivered to Sydney. Once it has arrived in our warehouse, we will arrange shipment to your location. Prior arrangement can also be made to ship items direct to you.

Estimated start to finish process: 8 - 12 weeks
