The Legacy Series Pec Fly isolates the chest the way free weights can't. Seated against an oversized back pad, you bring the arms together through a horizontal arc with the shoulders and elbows supported the whole way - so the pecs do the work without the stabilising demand of a dumbbell fly.

The independent arms move separately, which means a stronger side can't take over from a weaker one, and the adjustable seat height lines the handles up with the mid-chest for lifters of any size. Multi-grip handles let you change where the squeeze lands, from upper to mid pec.

Built on a 3mm commercial steel frame with a fully enclosed weight stack and maintenance-free pulleys, it's made for premium gym floors that get used all day.

Key Features

  • Independent arms: each side loads separately, so imbalances get trained out instead of hidden.
  • Adjustable seat height: aligns the handle path with the chest for every user.
  • Multi-grip handles: vary the angle to shift emphasis across the pec.
  • Oversized back pad: supported posture and a longer, safer range of motion.
  • Enclosed metal weight stack: premium look with no exposed plates.
  • 100kg pin-loaded stack: 96kg stack plus 4.6kg top plate, one-pin changes - upgradeable to 140kg at $10 per kilogram on made-to-order builds.
  • Maintenance-free pulley system: smooth, consistent resistance with minimal servicing.
  • 3mm heavy-duty steel frame: built for daily commercial traffic.
  • Custom colours: 16 frame colours and 12 upholstery colours available on made-to-order builds.

FAQs

Pec fly machine or dumbbell flys - which is better?
They do different jobs. Dumbbell flys demand shoulder stability and the resistance drops off at the top. The machine keeps tension through the whole arc and supports the joint, so you can chase a hard chest contraction without the stabilising work getting in the way. Most floors run both.

What's the difference between a pec fly and a chest press?
The press is a compound push driven by the chest, shoulders and triceps together. The fly is an isolation movement - elbows stay fixed and the pecs do almost all of it. They pair well: press for load, fly for the finishing squeeze. See the Legacy Chest Press.

Can it be used as a rear delt machine?
This is a dedicated pec fly, so it runs the pressing (converging) direction only. If you want both directions from one station, ask us about a rear delt / pec fly combination unit.

Why independent arms?
With the arms linked, a stronger side quietly does more of the work. Independent arms force each side to move its own load, which is why they're standard on premium chest machines.

Can I upgrade the weight stack?
Yes - on made-to-order builds the 100kg stack can be increased to 140kg at $10 per kilogram. Get in touch to spec it.

Can I customise the frame and upholstery?
Yes - made-to-order builds are available in 16 frame colours and 12 upholstery colours on an 8-12 week lead time. See the full colour chart below.

Do you offer delivery and installation?
Yes - Australia-wide delivery, with professional installation through our own technician team in Sydney. At roughly 285kg this is one to let our team place and level. Contact us to discuss freight access and site requirements.
