Imperial Dragon is the bolder of the two Onyx Muay Thai shorts, designed in Australia for Fitness Hero's own range. Traditional dragon artwork with sublimated detail covers the short, giving it a classic Thai fight-wear look. Sizes start at Medium and run to XXXL, so bigger-framed fighters are well catered for.
Construction matches the Onyx Royal Thai: tear-resistant, tightly woven satin that feels soft on the skin, sandwich-stitched mesh side panels for airflow, and wave-stitched, overlocked seams that strengthen the crotch and inner thigh. The wide waistband uses six independent elastic bands for a locked-in fit, finished with a high-density embroidered waist label and a PU-appliqué Onyx logo.

How is it different from the Royal Thai?
Same construction, sizing and waistband. The difference is the design: Imperial Dragon carries dragon artwork, while the Onyx Royal Thai Muay Thai Shorts have gold Thai script.
I'm a heavyweight - will these fit?
They run from Medium to XXXL, larger than most Thai shorts. The six-band waistband holds firm without digging in.
Are they suitable for competition?
Yes. They're a traditional Thai cut with reinforced seams and a secure waistband.
How should I wash them?
Cold wash only. Don't tumble dry, and don't iron directly over the embroidery or logo.
