These cast iron fractional plates run from 0.25kg to 2.5kg in eight weights — the finest loading steps in our fractional range — so every session can add something to the bar on pressing, Olympic lifts and anything else that stalls first.

Each weight is cast from solid iron, colour painted in a matte finish and clearly marked, so one glance tells you what is loaded. Built for home and commercial gyms alike.

Is the price for one plate or a pair?
A pair — each weight ships as two matched plates, one for each side of the bar.

What does the full set include?
One pair of every weight — 0.25 through 2.5kg, eight pairs and 19.5kg of plates — covering every load from 0.5kg to 19.5kg in 0.5kg steps, at a set discount over buying the pairs individually.

Cast iron or rubber fractional plates?
Cast iron gives you the classic feel and the finest steps — eight weights with 0.25kg jumps. If you want quieter loading that is kinder to bar sleeves, our rubber fractional plates run 0.5–2.5kg in IWF colours.

Will they fit my barbell?
Yes — the 50.4mm collar opening slides onto any Olympic barbell, including our Elite Camo and Harden Chrome bars. They are not suited to 28mm standard bars.

Who are fractional plates for?
Anyone whose lifts have outpaced 2.5kg jumps — pressing progress lives in the small steps. Standard kit for Olympic lifters, powerlifters working to meet-day openers, and anyone running precise percentages.
