The Morgan V2 Classic Rag Filled Thai Pads are built the traditional way: a tough 850D ripstop vinyl shell, filled in Morgan's Australian factory with a mix of 100% cotton and fleece rags. The rag fill gives a softer, more forgiving impact than dense foam, which is easier on the holder's arms and the striker's shins through long rounds.
Each pad has dual velcro straps at the back and a plastic tube handle for a secure grip, plus two air release eyelets. They work well for kicks, knees and punches, and the extra weight also makes them a handy conditioning tool for the holder's arms. They're a versatile choice for Muay Thai, boxing and combat sports group classes, and come in 2kg or 5kg.

Why rag filled instead of foam?
Rag filling gives a softer, deeper impact that moulds to the strike without being rigid. Many coaches prefer it for long pad sessions and group classes because it's easier on the holder's arms and the kicker's shins.
2kg or 5kg?
The 2kg is lighter and quicker to move for fast combinations and smaller holders. The 5kg has more filling behind it for heavy kickers and doubles as an arm conditioning tool for the holder.
