The Morgan Punch Paddles are slim, lightweight target paddles for speed, accuracy and combination drills. Because each paddle weighs about 160g, the holder can move the target quickly between strikes, so the boxer has to react, track the target and land clean shots rather than just hitting a fixed mitt.
Each paddle is hand-stitched and built from multiple layers of high-density closed-cell foam compressed into a thick, shock-absorbing striking surface. The grip has an elasticated wrist strap so the paddle stays in the holder's hand during fast rounds, and the foam takes some of the sting out of repeated strikes for the holder. They suit boxing, MMA and fitness boxing classes.

How are punch paddles different from focus pads?
Paddles are flatter and lighter than focus mitts and are held by a handle rather than worn on the hand. That makes them quick to move and reposition, so they suit speed, reaction and accuracy work. For heavier power punching, a curved focus mitt such as the Morgan V2 Classic Pre-Bent Focus Pads gives the holder more padding.
Are they sold as a pair?
Yes. Morgan supplies them as a pair, one for each hand.
Can I use them for kicks?
They are designed for punching drills. For kicks and knees, use a pair of Thai Pads or a kick shield, which have the padding and size to take leg strikes.
