The Elite Retro is Morgan's take on vintage fight trunks with a modern build. It has a narrower, more tailored cut than Morgan's traditional shorts and a slim 2in retro waistband, so it sits lower and neater on the hips than a standard wide-band Thai short.
To keep that closer fit from restricting you, Morgan adds long expansion panels, double-layer side mesh inserts and extended leg slits. The MTS-3 satin wicks moisture and has an odour-prevention finish, the laser-cut apex gives a clean front line, and an inbuilt extended drawstring keeps the slim waistband secure.

How is this different from the standard Retro shorts?
The Morgan Retro Muay Thai Shorts have a traditional wide-leg cut and standard waistband. The Elite Retro is cut narrower, with a slimmer 2in waistband, double-layer side mesh and longer leg slits.
Will the narrow waistband stay up?
Yes. It's elasticated with an inbuilt extended drawstring, so you can tighten it to stay put through kicks and clinch work.
Should I size up?
If you like a looser feel, yes. The narrower cut fits closer through the leg than a traditional Thai short.
How should I wash them?
Turn them inside out, wash cold and hang them to dry. Skip the dryer, bleach and fabric softener, and don't iron over printed or embroidered areas.
