Flexible Equipment Financing From Fitness Hero with GRENKEHeavy-Duty Curved Strike Shield with Padded Hand Covers | 70 x 38 x 19cm | 1200D Vinyl
Morgan describes the Elite Curved High Impact Hit Shield as the toughest and strongest shield in its range of shields and protectors. It is built for coaches and training partners who need to absorb hard kicks, knees, punches and body contact in combat sports, krav maga training and rugby league contact drills.
The shield uses a pre-cut, shaped 1200D ripstop vinyl cover over multi-layer, high-density, heavy-duty one-piece Australian-made foam with a concave face. Padded covers over the side handles protect the holder's hands, so you can hold it tight to the body or push it out to extend your reach without changing your grip. Two rear grip handles, dual looped webbing straps and extra strap handles at the top and bottom of the back let you hold it in several configurations.

What makes it "high impact"?
It combines a 1200D ripstop vinyl cover with thick, multi-layer one-piece high-density foam and a concave face. Morgan rates it as the toughest shield in its range, so it suits hard kicks, knees and full-body contact.
How do you hold it?
For kicks and knees, put your forearms through the rear webbing straps and grip the handles. For body contact or tackle drills, use the padded side handles, which let you hold it tight to your body or push it out without moving your hands.
Can it be used for rugby?
Yes. Morgan recommends it for rugby league training as well as combat sports. For rugby-specific shields, see our Rugby Hit Shields.
How is it different from the L-Shape shield?
The Morgan L-Shape High Impact Shield is a 1m L-shaped shield. This one is a 70cm curved shield with padded hand protection, which is easier to move and reposition between strikes.
