Morgan Breaking Boards are wooden boards made for board breaking in karate, taekwondo and other martial arts. Each board is cut from paulownia, a light, straight-grained timber that breaks cleanly along the grain, so students can test their technique, focus and power with a consistent board every time.
At 0.8cm thick, this is the thinnest board in the Morgan range and the easiest to break, which makes it the one to choose for kids, beginners and first gradings. Each board measures 31cm x 23cm, and they come in a pack of 10, enough for a grading session or a class.

Which thickness should I choose?
Thinner boards are easier to break. This 0.8cm board suits kids and beginners, the 1.2cm and 1.5cm suit intermediate students, and the 2cm is for senior students and power breaking. Check with your instructor if you're unsure.
Can the boards be reused?
No. These are real wooden boards that break once. Each pack has 10 boards.
How should the board be held?
Hold or mount the board firmly with the grain running in line with the strike, and always break under the supervision of a qualified instructor.
