The T-Max Series Hip Thrust Machine is the heavy glute builder - the movement that grows glutes under maximum load, engineered into a machine that removes every barrier of the barbell version. No bar to load, no pad to balance, no setup circus in the middle of the floor: sit in, set the belt pad, pull a pin and thrust.

The 100kg pin-loaded weight stack means the resistance changes in seconds between users, which is exactly why this machine runs queues in commercial gyms - it's the fastest hip thrust in the building. The padded belt spreads the load across the hips, so there's no barbell digging into the pelvis, the single biggest complaint of the barbell hip thrust.

Built on an 11-gauge carbon steel frame at 243kg all-up, with polyurethane foam padding throughout, it's made for high-traffic daily use in commercial facilities and serious home gyms alike.

Key Features

  • Heavy bilateral glute loading: the hip thrust pattern that builds glute strength and size, guided and back-supported.
  • 100kg pin-loaded weight stack: change resistance in seconds - no plates to load, no bar to strip between users. Stack upgradeable to 140kg.
  • Padded belt system: spreads the load across the hips - no barbell pressure on the pelvis, no balancing a pad.
  • 11-gauge carbon steel frame: 243kg of commercial-grade machine built for daily high-volume use.
  • Polyurethane foam pads: firm, durable support that holds shape under heavy sets.
  • Fast for group training: walk in, set the pin, train - ideal for classes, PT sessions and busy floors.
  • Powder-coated commercial frame: custom colours available on made-to-order builds.

FAQs

Machine hip thrust or barbell hip thrust?
Same movement, none of the friction. The barbell version needs a bench, a loaded bar, a balance pad and floor space - and the bar presses into the pelvis under load. The machine version is back-supported with a padded belt, loads in seconds off the pin stack, and keeps the movement path consistent rep after rep. For commercial floors it also means no bench-and-barbell setup camped in a walkway.

Hip thrust or kick back - which should I get?
They do different jobs. The hip thrust is the heavy bilateral builder - maximum glute load, both legs. The rear kick back isolates one glute at a time with strict form for finishing work and fixing imbalances. Serious glute floors run both.

Is a 100kg stack enough?
For the vast majority of members, yes - the belt geometry loads the glutes directly, so stack numbers feel heavier than barbell numbers. And if your strongest members will outgrow it, the stack can be increased to 140kg at $10 per kilogram - just ask when ordering.

Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes - the seated, back-supported position and fixed path make it one of the easiest heavy lower-body movements to teach, and the pin stack scales from first session to advanced.

Can I customise the frame and upholstery?
Yes - made-to-order builds are available in 16 frame colours and 12 upholstery colours on an 8-12 week lead time. See the full colour chart below.

Do you offer delivery and installation?
Yes - Australia-wide delivery, with professional installation through our own technician team in Sydney. Contact us to discuss freight access and site requirements.
