The Legacy Series Abductor trains the outward press - glute medius and outer thigh - the muscles that stabilise the hips in every squat, stride and change of direction. Seated against a wide, supportive backrest with the legs against angled knee pads, you press outward against the stack through a controlled, isolated arc.

The adjustable start range matches the movement to each user's flexibility and mobility, and the ergonomic pad placement keeps the work in the hip abductors rather than the knees. One pin on the 100kg enclosed stack and the station is set for the next member.

Built on a 3mm reinforced steel frame at 250kg with a smooth, low-maintenance cable system, it's made for daily commercial rotation.

What muscles does the abductor machine work?
The hip abductors - glute medius and the outer thigh - the muscles that press the legs outward and keep the pelvis stable on one leg.

Abductor or adductor - what's the difference?
This machine presses outward (outer glutes and hips). The Legacy Adductor squeezes inward (inner thigh). They're mirror machines, and most floors place them side by side - or see the Legacy Dual Abductor / Adductor for both in one unit.

Why train the abductors?
Strong hip abductors shape the upper glutes and stabilise the knees and pelvis in running and squatting - weak ones show up as knees caving in under load.

Is it beginner-friendly?
Very - the adjustable start range means nobody is forced into a stretch they don't have yet, and the pin stack starts light.

Can I upgrade the weight stack?
Yes - on made-to-order builds the 100kg stack can be increased to 140kg at $10 per kilogram. Get in touch to spec it.

You can now design your own custom made equipment to suit your own requirements. Simply let us know the colour or finish you would like on the products and we will do the rest.

Once an order has been placed, your equipment will be manufactured upon request. This process generally takes around 14 days depending on the size of each product.

Once the production is finished, it can take 4-6 weeks to be delivered to Sydney. Once it has arrived in our warehouse, we will arrange shipment to your location. Prior arrangement can also be made to ship items direct to you.

Estimated start to finish process: 8 - 12 weeks
