The Synergy Series Seated Calf Raise trains the calf muscle most gyms forget. With the knee bent, the seated position shifts the work onto the soleus - the deep calf muscle that standing raises largely miss - making this machine the difference between big calves and complete ones.

It's plate-loaded, so progression is as simple as adding Olympic plates, and the stable platform, adjustable knee pads and smooth rotating arm with stop limiter deliver a full, controlled range of motion with zero load on the spine.

At just 53kg and 1.46m long, it's the smallest-footprint machine on the strength floor and one of the easiest additions to any facility - a complete lower-leg station that fits where nothing else will.

FAQs

Seated or standing calf raise - what's the difference?
Knee position decides which muscle works. Standing (straight-leg) raises bias the gastrocnemius - the visible upper calf. Seated (bent-knee) raises shift the load to the soleus, the deep muscle underneath that gives the lower leg its size and endurance. Complete calf development needs both, which is why serious floors run a seated raise alongside standing work.

What plates does it take?
Standard Olympic (50mm) plates - the same plates as the rest of your floor. Plates are sold separately; add them to your order and we will freight everything together.

Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes - the seated position is stable, the movement is simple to learn, and the stop limiter makes entry and exit safe at any load.

Will it fit my space?
Easily - at 1.46m x 0.63m it has the smallest footprint of any machine we sell, and at 53kg it can be positioned without specialist equipment.

Commercial Grade custom made to order products

You can now design your own custom made equipment to suit your own requirements. Simply let us know the colour or finish you would like on the products and we will do the rest.

Once an order has been placed, your equipment will be manufactured upon request. This process generally takes around 14 days depending on the size of each product.

Once the production is finished, it can take 4-6 weeks to be delivered to Sydney. Once it has arrived in our warehouse, we will arrange shipment to your location. Prior arrangement can also be made to ship items direct to you.

Estimated start to finish process: 8 - 12 weeks
