The Solaris Seated Dip takes one of the best upper-body mass builders - the dip - and puts it in a guided, seated machine. Sit down, grip the handles and press: the triceps and lower chest do the work, with none of the balance demands, wrist strain or shoulder stress of bodyweight bar dips.

The Olympic plate-loaded system solves both ends of the dip problem: lifters who've outgrown bodyweight dips can load well past it, and people still building toward their first dip can start light and progress in small steps. Either way, the movement path stays strict and the tension stays on the target muscles.

Built from commercial-grade high-strength steel at 118kg with an adjustable high-density foam seat and ergonomic non-slip grips, it's made for high-traffic commercial floors, PT studios and serious home gyms.

What muscles does the seated dip machine work?
Primarily the triceps, with strong assistance from the lower chest and front delts - the same muscles as parallel-bar dips, isolated more strictly.

Machine dips or bar dips - which is better?
The machine wins for most training goals: the seated position removes the balance demand, the guided path protects the shoulders at the bottom of the rep, and the plate loading works in both directions - lighter than bodyweight for beginners, heavier than bodyweight for advanced lifters.

Is it beginner-friendly?
Very - start with light plates and the machine teaches the dip pattern safely. It's one of the easiest ways to build toward bodyweight bar dips.

What plates does it take?
Standard Olympic (50mm) plates - the same plates as the rest of your floor. Plates are sold separately; add them to your order and we will freight everything together.

What pairs well with it?

You can now design your own custom made equipment to suit your own requirements. Simply let us know the colour or finish you would like on the products and we will do the rest.

Once an order has been placed, your equipment will be manufactured upon request. This process generally takes around 14 days depending on the size of each product.

Once the production is finished, it can take 4-6 weeks to be delivered to Sydney. Once it has arrived in our warehouse, we will arrange shipment to your location. Prior arrangement can also be made to ship items direct to you.
