The Solaris Abdominal Crunch turns the crunch into a loadable strength movement. Seated and back-supported, you curl the torso forward against Olympic plates on a guided arc - so the abs do the work, not momentum, and not your neck or lower back.

That's the gap floor crunches can't fill: once bodyweight gets easy, the only way to keep progressing is more reps. Here you add plates, keep the reps in the hypertrophy range, and build a stronger, thicker rectus abdominis the same way you'd build any other muscle.

Built on a 130kg commercial steel frame with supportive pads and a powder-coated finish, it's made for daily use on busy gym floors.

What muscles does it work?
Primarily the rectus abdominis - the "six-pack" muscle - with the obliques and deep core stabilisers assisting.

Is it better than floor crunches?
For building the abs, yes. Floor crunches top out at bodyweight; the machine lets you add load and progress like any other lift, while the guided path and pads keep the neck and lower back out of it.

Plate loaded or pin loaded - which should I choose?
Plate loaded gives a smooth, natural resistance feel, needs no cables or stack, and uses plates you already own. Pin loaded is faster to adjust between users. If you want a stack, see the T-MAX Abdominal Crunch.

Is it beginner-friendly?
Very - the seated, guided movement is easy to learn, and you can start with light plates and build from there.

Are weight plates included?
No - it takes standard Olympic plates, sold separately. See our Olympic plates; add them to your order and we'll freight everything together.

Commercial Grade custom made to order products

You can now design your own custom made equipment to suit your own requirements. Simply let us know the colour or finish you would like on the products and we will do the rest.

Once an order has been placed, your equipment will be manufactured upon request. This process generally takes around 14 days depending on the size of each product.

Once the production is finished, it can take 4-6 weeks to be delivered to Sydney. Once it has arrived in our warehouse, we will arrange shipment to your location. Prior arrangement can also be made to ship items direct to you.
