Nothing on the gym floor burns like the stairs. The T500 is Brightway's next-generation commercial step mill - a continuously revolving staircase that turns the hardest cardio there is into a machine built for it. Every step recruits the glutes, quads, calves and core, so it burns at a rate flat cardio can't match, while staying low-impact because each step lands soft and controlled.
Choose your console. The LED version gives you the core readouts - time, level, calories, heart rate, steps and floors climbed - on a clear, high-visibility display. The LCD version upgrades to a large colour touchscreen with wireless and wired screen mirroring, so members can cast their own phone or tablet content to the screen while they climb.
Both share the same frame, drive and staircase: 15 intensity levels, heart rate monitoring from 40-180 bpm, a step counter to 9,999 and a floor-height readout, on a footprint of just 1545 x 835mm. Full-length handrails and a low step-on height keep it accessible for every member.

LED or LCD - which console should I choose?
If you want the numbers and nothing else, the LED console does the job at a lower price. If your members expect entertainment - casting their own phone content, following a class or a scenic climb on screen - the LCD touchscreen with wireless and wired mirroring is the one. The staircase, levels and heart rate tracking are identical on both.
What exactly is a step mill?
It's a machine with a short staircase that continuously revolves - like a down escalator you climb against. Unlike a stepper with pedals, you're taking real steps on real stairs, which is why it delivers the strength and calorie burn it does.
How does the T500 compare to the Stair Master 8000?
The T500 is the newer design with a smaller footprint (1545 x 835mm against 1580 x 845mm), a lower overall height, a choice of consoles and step and floor counting on the display. The Stair Master 8000 remains a strong-value option with 36 built-in programs.
Is stair climbing bad for knees?
It's the opposite of running in that respect - each step lands controlled with no impact shock, which is why step mills are used in rehabilitation settings. As with any equipment, users with existing knee conditions should get professional advice first.
What ceiling height do I need?
The machine stands 2080mm tall, and the user stands on the top step above that. Allow at least 40-50cm of clearance above the machine for taller users - a 2.7m ceiling is comfortable.
