The Reload ErgoSki Magnetic is a ski erg with 20 magnetic resistance levels, fixed, selectable load at every stroke speed, in near-silence. What's the difference between magnetic and air resistance?
An air ski machine's resistance builds with your effort. The harder and faster you pull, the harder it fights back, which gives sprints that signature surge. Magnetic resistance works the opposite way: you choose one of 20 levels and the load stays constant regardless of stroke speed. Air rewards all-out effort. Magnetic rewards control, consistency and programming precision, and does it almost silently.

How do I change the resistance?
Use the lever on the flywheel. Flick it to any of the 20 positions and the new load applies instantly. No console menus, no power required, no interruption to the session.

Is it really quiet enough for an apartment?
Magnetic braking is near-silent. No fan whoosh, no wind-up roar. The loudest thing in the room is your breathing.

How tall is it, and will it fit my space?
It stands 219cm tall with a 126 x 59cm footprint, so it clears a standard 2.4m ceiling. Check your ceiling height if installing in a garage with low beams.

Which level should I train at?
Start low and find the level where you can hold clean technique for your target time or distance. The 20-level range covers everyone, from gentle rehabilitation pulls at the bottom to serious strength-endurance loads at the top.

What muscles does ski training work?
The downward pull drives the lats, triceps, shoulders and core, with the hips and legs loading through each stroke. Low-impact, standing, full-body conditioning without seated compression.

Do I need to mount it to a wall?
The ErgoSki Magnetic is fully free-standing on its integrated platform. Position it anywhere on the floor and train.
