PP or the Plated 116cm — which should I choose?
Same commanding size. This PP version is the training workhorse — virtually unbreakable and happy to take daily drill work. The plated version adds a silver-look metallic finish for display, stage and demonstrations. Train this one; show that one.

How does it compare to your other PP blades?
It tops the ladder — 116cm/880g against the 112cm Tachi at 700g and the 106cm Katana at 530g. If your forms call for maximum reach and weight, this is the one.

Is it suitable for partner work?
It's built for forms and controlled partner drills under qualified instruction. Nearly 900g of rigid PP carries serious impact — it's not for contact sparring. Use control and appropriate protective equipment.
