Is the blade actually metal?
No — it's ABS plastic with a silver-look plated finish. It photographs and displays like polished steel but has no edge and can't be sharpened, making it legal to own and safe to train with as a plastic trainer.

How does it compare to your plated katana range?

Will the plating wear with training?
