The Raptor Series Power Squat Pendulum delivers the gym's most important lift with the risk engineered out. Its guided pendulum path mimics the barbell back squat - ergonomic shoulder pads, an elevated footplate, Olympic plate loading - so lifters can load heavy and squat deep without a spotter and without the balance risk of a bar on the back.

The elevated, angled footplate encourages full depth and strong glute activation, while the fixed path keeps every rep consistent - which makes it equally valuable at both ends of the room: beginners learn squat mechanics safely, and advanced lifters push past what they'd risk under a free bar.

Built on a 205kg commercial steel frame with integrated lockout safety catches and plate storage, it's made for high-traffic floors that want a squat pattern every member can train.

How does it compare to a barbell back squat?
The movement pattern is the same - quads, glutes and hamstrings through a deep squat - but the guided path removes the balance demand and the lockout catches remove the failure risk. It's not a replacement for the barbell so much as the way to squat heavy on the days you have no spotter, and the way to teach the pattern to members who aren't ready for a free bar.

What muscles does it target?
Primarily the quads and glutes, with the hamstrings working throughout - the elevated footplate lets you bias glutes further by adjusting foot position.

What plates does it take?
Standard Olympic (50mm) plates - the same plates as the rest of your floor. Plates are sold separately; add them to your order and we will freight everything together.

Is it suitable for beginners?
It's one of the best tools there is for them - the guided path teaches correct squat mechanics with zero balance risk, then scales all the way to advanced heavy training.

Can I customise the frame and upholstery?

Commercial Grade custom made to order products

You can now design your own custom made equipment to suit your own requirements. Simply let us know the colour or finish you would like on the products and we will do the rest.

Once an order has been placed, your equipment will be manufactured upon request. This process generally takes around 14 days depending on the size of each product.

Once the production is finished, it can take 4-6 weeks to be delivered to Sydney. Once it has arrived in our warehouse, we will arrange shipment to your location. Prior arrangement can also be made to ship items direct to you.
