The Onyx Adjustable Boxing Speed Ball is the power-focused reflex trainer in our range. Where lighter inflatable reflex balls dance away from your strikes, this one is a solid, high-density foam ball - it has real weight, gives real resistance, and rewards real punches. The stainless steel coil spring returns it through a swing angle of up to 150 degrees, and the harder you hit, the faster it comes back: the pace of your round is set by your own power.

That makes it two tools in one. At a controlled pace it's a forgiving platform for beginners building timing, coordination and confidence. Driven hard, it's a punch-power and endurance machine for experienced fighters - combos, dodging and footwork under a rebound that punishes anything lazy.

An adjustable crank sets the ball height from 125cm to 155cm, and the base fills with water or sand (up to 25kg) for stability. No inflation needed - the solid ball is ready out of the box.

Q: Does the ball need pumping up?
A: No - it's solid high-density foam, ready to hit straight out of the box, with nothing to puncture or reinflate.

Q: Will it suit my height?
A: The crank adjusts the ball from 125cm to 155cm - a lower range than the Cobra, well suited to body-shot height work, shorter users and juniors as well as head-height rounds for most adults.

Q: Water or sand in the base?
A: Either, up to 25kg. Sand is more stable for hard hitters; water is easier to fill and drain.

Q: What gloves should I use?
A: Bag mitts or quick wraps for speed rounds, or Viper gloves when you're driving power into it.
